The Argentine striker, Gonzalo Higuain ended his career. In the last match with their Inter Miami, they were defeated by New York with 3-0 in the round of 16 of the playoffs in the MLS league. After this duel, the center of attention was Higuain, who was overcome by emotions and burst into tears.
“I want to be remembered as a good person, in the end that’s the most important thing.” I am proud of everything I have achieved, of all my teammates, coach and fans,” said Higuain at the press conference after the match.
In his rich career he played for River Plata, Real Madrid, Napoli, Juventus, AC Milan, Chelsea and Inter Miami.
For the national team of Argentina, he scored 31 goals in 75 appearances, and in his club career he played 711 matches in which he scored 335 goals. In Napoli’s shirt, he was the top scorer in Serie A in the 2015/16 season with 36 goals, while this season he had 14 goals and three assists in 29 games.
