Ronaldo posted a picture with Peterson on social media two weeks ago.

“A few months ago, he had problems in his life. A friend sent him some of my videos. He said he watched them and then read my book. Ronaldo thinks that the book helped him and then he wanted to talk to me. We talked for about two hours. He showed me the equipment he uses to stay in top shape, we talked about his companies… Mostly about what he wants in the future and the obstacles he faces,” Peterson told The Piers Morgan Show.

Ronaldo (37) has played eight games for Manchester United in all competitions this season and scored just one goal.

He missed most of the Red Devils’ pre-season training as he reportedly wanted to move to the club, who are playing in the Champions League this season.

The Portuguese has a contract with the Old Trafford club until the end of the season.

Ronaldo came under fire from the media and fans at home as Portugal failed to reach the Nations League final.
