The Villarreal legend has moved to Watford!

Spanish footballer Mario Gaspar is a new player for Watford, the English club announced.

The defender has played for Villarreal throughout his career and joined Watford on a free transfer after his contract with last year’s Champions League semi-finalists expired.

Gaspar (31) is third on the list of Villarreal in the number of games played, with over 400 appearances for that club.

He played three games for the Spanish national team, and his spectacular goal against England in a friendly match in 2015 was nominated for the Puskas Award for the best goal.
