Francesco Totti has returned to talk about the divorce with Ilary Blasi, after a marriage that lasted for 17 years and both gave birth to three children.
The former legendary captain of Rome denied the rumors that he betrayed Ilary, as he also revealed the reasons for the crisis between the couple, with the situations that degraded and culminated in the divorce at the beginning of this summer.
“A lot has been said about our history, but I was not the first to betray. Our relationship has had its ups and downs during this time, but in 2016, when I left football, everything was getting more complicated. Leaving football was like a kind of death for me and I experienced it badly.
The relationship between me and Ilary got complicated last spring, when I found compratory messages on the phone. With Noemi (current girlfriend) we were just friends and our relationship was consolidated only after the divorce with Ilary. I will not retaliate, despite my ex-wife’s words, as I want to protect my children. It’s the last time I talk about this topic”, declared Totti.
