The Norwegian representative Erling Haaland already has nine goals in the Premier League, and August is not over yet.
After a hat-trick against Crystal Palace at the weekend, he repeated the same effect tonight against Nottingham Forest in just one half. After the first 45 minutes, the score was 3-0, and all three goals were scored by the Norwegian “monster”.
With this, Haaland broke the Premier League record as he became the first player in history to score nine goals in his first appearances in this competition. The previous record holders in this segment were former City player Sergio Aguero and Newcastle’s Mickey Quinn with eight goals each.
Manchester City beat Nottingham Forest 6-0 tonight and continued their pursuit of Arsenal, who are perfect after the first five rounds.
