The Saudi Arabian Super League is stepping up efforts to secure the services of Real Madrid forward Vinicius Junior this summer.

Saudi League officials have held new talks with the Brazilian international’s representatives, with the aim of making a sensational transfer in the summer transfer window.

The 25-year-old is reportedly open to a move to Saudi Arabia if he does not renew his contract with Real Madrid.

His current deal with the Spanish club expires next year.

On the other hand, Real Madrid have been active in trying to extend his stay, with president Florentino Perez being a big admirer of the player.

Negotiations for a new contract have not yet led to a final agreement due to financial differences, however, Los Blancos remain determined to obtain the Brazilian’s approval to continue their collaboration.

Meanwhile, Vinicius is said to be happy in Madrid, especially after his return to form under coach Alvaro Arbeloa.
