Juventus have expressed interest in midfielder Manuel Ugarte, while Manchester United appear open to letting the player leave in the summer.
According to reports from Tuttomercato , the Italian club are willing to offer around €40m for the 24-year-old, a sum that United may consider acceptable as they analyse the squad’s renewal for next season.
Ugarte has struggled to find consistency since arriving in England, failing to reproduce the form that made him one of Europe’s most promising midfielders during his time at Sporting.
Even a previous spell at PSG failed to restore his level, and the challenges have continued at Old Trafford.
However, interest in the Uruguayan representative remains strong.
AS Monaco is following his situation closely and could enter the race as the end of the season approaches.
This season, Ugarte has made 23 appearances for Manchester United, mostly as a substitute, without scoring a goal or assisting.
