Reports from Italy claim that Inter are interested in a possible deal for Chelsea midfielder Andrey Santos, ahead of a summer transfer window that is expected to be very busy for the Nerazzurri.
According to Fabrizio Romano, Inter are considering the transfer of the 21-year-old Brazilian, who has recently been invited to the Brazil national team by Carlo Ancelotti.
The summer is expected to be intense for Inter, as several experienced players are set to leave at the end of their contracts, while recent reports suggest the club is not ruling out selling a big-name first-team player.
Andrey Santos is one of the midfielders who could be transferred to the San Siro this summer. Inter had discussed a possible deal for the Brazilian in the summer of 2025, while according to reports, several meetings have been held with agents and intermediaries Giuliano Bertolucci and Kia Joorabchian.
Chelsea’s valuation could be a stumbling block for Cristian Chivu’s side. Calciomercato reports that the London club rejected an offer of around €50m from Saudi Arabia for Andrey Santos last summer.
However, given that the player is not an undisputed starter at Stamford Bridge and has only started 13 games this season between the Premier League and Champions League, Inter are hoping that Chelsea have lowered their demands for the 21-year-old.
Andrey Santos is not the only name on Inter’s wish list, as numerous reports in Italy suggest the Nerazzurri are also interested in Roma midfielder Manu Kone.
