Hansi Flick has installed a very good culture in the Barcelona dressing room, however some cracks are starting to appear.
The most recent case concerns Roony Bardghji, who has experienced a difficult first season at the ‘Spotify Camp Nou’.
Bardghji joined the club last summer from Copenhagen, and although he has impressed whenever he has been called on by Flick, he has been limited to 22 appearances in all competitions with the majority of these coming as substitutes.
Recently, Bardghji has appeared before the media and admitted that he is not happy with the lack of minutes on the field.
“The truth is that I’ve had little playing time so far. I’m patient, but, honestly, I think I deserve to play more. I’m not 100% happy, but that’s football.”
“I respect those who have been part of the team for a long time, they are my teammates. I know what I can do, I have a lot of confidence in myself,” said Bardghji.
During the winter transfer window, Bardghji was linked with a move away from Barcelona, with Porto among the clubs showing interest.
At the time, Flick closed the door on the Swedish striker’s departure, but opportunities for a possible departure could arise in the summer.
Barcelona are looking to sign a winger, and although Marcus Rashford is the preferred candidate, the ideal profile is a versatile player who can play on either wing.
