Real Madrid have made their stance on Gonzalo Garcia clear, setting a fixed price of €60m amid growing interest in the transfer market.
Despite a decline in playing time this season, the young striker continues to attract interest from several European clubs. According to reports, a major Italian club has recently contacted Real Madrid to explore the possibility of a deal, while Borussia Dortmund have also shown interest.
However, Dortmund’s rumored offer of around €30 million is far from Real Madrid’s valuation, making a deal unlikely at this stage.
The Spanish giants are reportedly reluctant to let academy talent leave “on the cheap”, and Garcia’s profile supports that view. He was previously the top scorer at the Club World Cup and has produced results whenever he has been called upon in his natural role.
This season, Garcia has made 34 appearances and scored six goals, although he has often been used out of position. Real Madrid see him as a valuable asset – either for the future or as a big sale – but only for the right price.
