Defender Dani Carvajal will not continue with Real Madrid after the end of the 2025/26 season.
The Spanish veteran has been undisputed in the success of “Los Blancos” for more than a decade, but is no longer in the Madrid club’s plans.
According to what the major Spanish newspaper “Marca” reports, Carvajal has informed Real Madrid that he has decided to leave the “Santiago Bernabeu” for a new challenge.
Currently, the player is recovering from another injury he recently suffered and as a result will be out of action for the next three matches in La Liga.
Within 13 years as part of the best club in history, he has won all possible trophies, namely the Champions League six times, four La Liga, four Spanish Super Cups, five European Super Cups, five Club World Cups and two Copa del Reys.
Thus, Trent Alexander-Arnold will now be the main player for the right-wing position, while it remains to be seen who the Madrid giant will take as an alternative during the summer.
