Official: Sergio Ramos Purchases Spanish Giants for a Crazy Fee of $450 Million

News

Sergio Ramos and his investment fund Five Eleven Capital have reached an agreement to buy Sevilla football club, with the news announced by journalist Victor Fernandez after a meeting held this morning (Tuesday).

According to available information, the value of the deal for 80 percent of the club’s shares is around 450 million euros. Ramos wants the whole process to be completed as soon as possible so that he can take over the management of the club.

On Monday evening, journalist Fernandez reported on the great optimism of the parties involved and announced that reaching a final agreement was a matter of hours, which was eventually confirmed.

The news of the sale of the club comes at a very sensitive time for Sevilla, which is fighting to stay in the first division.

The club believes that their current 40 points do not guarantee survival and that they “need one more win” to secure their status in the top flight.

With three rounds remaining, the table is so tight that the seventh and eighteenth teams in the league are only nine points apart.

Sevilla will have their first chance to take a new step towards survival this weekend against Villarreal.
