It wasn’t just Chelsea that enjoyed Arsenal’s European struggles. The Blues announced the Champions League trophies on social media and invited everyone to come to Stamford Bridge.
“Come and visit the home of trophies in London. Book your Stamford Bridge stadium tour now,” Chelsea announced.
Besides Chelsea, several other clubs have made jokes about the Gunners.
Crystal Palace, who recently won the Conference League, posted a photo of themselves lifting the trophy with the caption “European Champions”.
Nottingham Forest also joined in the celebration. Despite finishing just five points above the relegation zone, Forest still made a cheeky and provocative comment, posting a photo of club legend John Robertson holding up the first of their two consecutive Champions League trophies.
As a reminder, Arsenal were defeated by PSG on penalties in Budapest last night, so they are still waiting for their first Champions League title.
