Manchester United are targeting another reinforcement from Real Madrid. After securing the services of Casemiro for 70 million euros (60+10 in the form of bonuses), the “Red Devils” have also submitted an official offer for Marco Asensio.
The 26-year-old is in the last year of his contract with the Spanish and European champions. The right forward is not part of the Spanish club’s plans and is expected to continue his career in the Premier League, although Carlo Ancelotti appreciates him.
The Spanish media report that the English club will offer 30 million euros for Asensio’s card, a proposal that is expected to be accepted by the president Florentino Perez, who has long put the Spanish player on the market.
Talks between the two clubs continue, while Asensio has also received offers from several English and Italian clubs. United is trying to win the rivalry and in “Old Trafford” they are optimistic about the successful closure of this operation.
