Britney Spears Deletes Her Instagram Account

News

Pop icon Britney Spears has deleted her personal Instagram account, according to reports from People magazine.

The move comes shortly after a series of posts in which the singer accused her ex-husband, Kevin Federline — with whom she shares two sons — of taking advantage of her pain.

Spears’ reaction followed claims Federline made in his new memoir, “You Thought You Knew,” published on October 21.

In excerpts released ahead of publication, the 47-year-old former dancer discusses his marriage to the 43-year-old singer and her relationship with their two sons, Sean Preston (20) and Jayden James (19), born during their marriage, which lasted from 2004 to 2007.

According to Entertainment Weekly, it remains unclear whether Spears personally deactivated her Instagram account or whether it was taken down by Meta, the parent company of Instagram and Facebook.

In a lengthy post shared on X (formerly Twitter), Spears accused her ex-husband of profiting from her struggles:

“To love someone with a pure and unconditional heart, but to always feel threatened or seen as the bad one, while others profit from your pain… Jesus, show me that God exists and that I too can love and be loved without trying to be perfect,” she wrote.

The singer also alleged that Federline has been “attacking” her during his media interviews.

“Why is he so angry? And what scares me is that he’s convincing. It shocks me when he almost looks like he’s about to cry… are you seriously kidding me?” she continued.

Comparing his memoir to her 2023 autobiography, “The Woman in Me,” Spears quipped ironically:

“I know his book will sell way more than mine.”

The artist added that she has found new ways to heal — starting by buying a mini greenhouse.

“I need healing, and I’m starting tomorrow… there are so many things you can do to heal,” she said.

The creator of the hit song “Lucky” also shared that she would love to have coffee, lunch, or dinner with actress Michelle Pfeiffer and Paris Jackson, daughter of Michael Jackson.

Among other messages, Spears took a moment to thank her fans for their support.

“Thank you to everyone supporting my heart right now. I know you understand me — and yes, it hurts,” Spears expressed.
