Enzo Fernandez’s future at Chelsea may be in doubt this summer, but Paris Saint-Germain will not be his next destination, according to Fabrizio Romano.
The Italian journalist reports that the French giant is satisfied with the midfield options, so is not considering an approach from the Argentine.
“Paris Saint-Germain are happy with their current midfield options, having added Dro Fernandez to the squad in January.”
“At the moment, they are not working on a deal for Enzo Fernandez,” Romano said on his YouTube channel.
Romano also confirmed earlier reports that the Argentine midfielder wants to sign an improved contract with Chelsea before the summer. If that doesn’t happen, he could start considering his options for his future.
Fernandez remains the key point of the London team’s midfield, which is struggling for positive results in recent matches, but aims to recover with the aim of occupying a place that leads to the Champions League.
