Well-known Turkish actor Can Yaman has been taken in by authorities as part of an ongoing investigation into narcotics involving public figures. Singer and actress Selen Görgüzel was also detained in connection with the same case.
The news comes shortly after the first episode of “Survivor 2026” aired on January 1, during which the show’s new format and the first elimination were revealed. According to CNN Turk, Selen Görgüzel became the first contestant to be eliminated from the competition.
Following her early exit from the island, Görgüzel shared moments from her return home on social media, expressing happiness about being back. She posted videos kissing the floor of her home, accompanied by the caption: “I am the champion of hearts and of those who love me.”
Although her time on Survivor lasted only one week, Görgüzel remained in the spotlight due to her social media activity after leaving the show. However, recent developments have once again placed her at the center of media attention.
According to reports, gendarmerie forces carried out a late-night operation at Bebek Hotel in Beşiktaş as part of the investigation. Several individuals were detained during the operation, including Can Yaman and Selen Görgüzel.
