Members of the Mauritanian football team were filmed at the door of the Argentina dressing room, waiting for the current world champions’ jerseys to receive as a “gift”, and at one point the situation became tense.
Argentina’s players easily defeated Mauritania 2-1 in a friendly match played in Buenos Aires.
For the players of this African team, this is the biggest challenge of their careers, but also the biggest success they could have faced. Since everyone will remember that day forever, they made sure to take home a valuable souvenir from this match.
Of course, it’s a jersey and Mauritania’s players were filmed standing outside the dressing room waiting for Lionel Messi and the team to change.
The Argentines gave them bags full of jerseys and only then did a riot break out. The players of this African national team started fighting over the jerseys, to see who would get which player and if they would be left without a valuable souvenir.
Everything calmed down quickly at the end, and it seems there weren’t enough jerseys for each of the individuals.
After the match ended, Mauritanians ran to take photos with Messi, but Argentina’s biggest star was quickly escorted off the field by a police escort.
How enthusiastic the Mauritanian players were about the opportunity to play a match like this at ‘La Bombonera’ is best shown by the fact that they went to the Argentine fans’ stands, celebrated and danced with them.
