After a 23-year absence, one of England’s most legendary clubs, Nottingham Forest returned to the island’s highest level of football, the Premier League. To ensure a dignified appearance in the elite, the Nottingham club spent a full 150 million pounds in the market to transfer 22 players.

However, expectations have not been met and on the field the team has failed, at least as far as the first nine weeks of the championship are concerned. Nottingham are currently bottom of the Premier League with just five points having recorded one win, two draws and six defeats.

Such results have made the club’s top leaders, led by Greek president Evangelos Marinakis, take measures regarding the people who took care of the market. Thus, two directors have been dismissed from the club, it is about the head of new recruitments George Syrianos and the head of scouts, Andy Scott. Syrianos joined Nottingham after a positive spell at Stuttgart, but did not show the same level in England.
