Will Smith’s Sexual Harassment Accuser Shared Cryptic Message Days Before Filing Lawsuit

News

Violinist Brian King Joseph shared a cryptic message on social media just days before filing a lawsuit accusing Will Smith of sexual harassment and wrongful termination—allegations the Hollywood star has firmly denied.

Joseph, 32, who rose to fame as a finalist on America’s Got Talent in 2018, posted a video on Instagram on Christmas Day, hinting that legal action was imminent. The lawsuit was officially filed one day before New Year’s Eve.

Allegations Linked to Las Vegas Tour Stop

According to the complaint, Joseph claims that during a tour stop in Las Vegas in March, he returned to his hotel room to find it unlocked and allegedly entered by an unknown individual who left behind a sexually suggestive note.

Joseph says he reported the incident to Smith’s team but was allegedly humiliated, dismissed from his job, and replaced shortly afterward. The lawsuit further alleges that Smith had “groomed and primed” him for sexual exploitation, as reported by DailyMail.

Smith’s Legal Team Responds

Smith’s attorney, Allen B. Grodsky, has categorically rejected the claims.

“These allegations are false, baseless, and reckless,” Grodsky said in a statement, adding that Smith intends to vigorously contest the lawsuit through all available legal means.

The Cryptic Christmas Video

In the Instagram video posted days before the lawsuit, Joseph explained that he was speaking out because of injustice and a desire to support others who may be afraid to come forward.

The post was accompanied by the caption:

“Stay safe and protect your beliefs, no matter what.”

Court documents also reveal that Joseph had been invited to Smith’s home in November 2024 to perform, a detail now included as part of the broader legal dispute.

The case remains ongoing, with Smith denying all allegations as legal proceedings move forward.
