Dua Lipa Opens Up About Long-Distance Relationship Struggles After World Tour

Dua Lipa has spoken candidly about the challenges of maintaining a long-distance relationship after spending a year on her global Radical Optimism tour, which kept her away from her fiancé, Callum Turner.

The 30-year-old singer offered advice to a fan who was trying to preserve a relationship from afar, admitting that while things may get easier over time, the distance never fully stops being difficult.

“Being away from family is hard,” she said. “You don’t just miss the big occasions — it’s the little moments that leave you feeling unbalanced.”

Despite the challenges, Dua emphasized that distance does not weaken love.

“Yes, relationships change with distance, but love doesn’t,” she explained. “It can even feel stronger when you’re not able to see each other all the time.”

She also reflected on past breakups, suggesting that sometimes the best thing you can do for someone is simply to be present and dependable, rather than trying to immediately fix everything.

After wrapping up her Radical Optimism world tour — which included 92 shows worldwide and generated $112.3 million (around €103.3 million) in revenue — Dua and Callum celebrated with a vacation in Mexico.

The couple, who began dating in January 2024 and confirmed their engagement in June, appear to have found a way to balance busy schedules and long stretches apart, proving that commitment and communication can help sustain love even across continents.
