Barcelona are determined to strengthen their defence after conceding a goal in every Champions League game this season.
The Catalan club’s main target is Inter defender Alessandro Bastoni.
However, the Catalans are looking for ways to reduce the Italian’s transfer fee, for which Inter are asking around 60-80 million euros.
It has been suggested that a “player plus money” type deal could be reached, with Dani Olmo and Ferran Torres being names that could interest the black and blue club.
However, it has recently emerged that Barcelona are willing to include young right-back Hector Fort in the deal.
The Catalan club has already held talks with Bastoni and reached a preliminary agreement on the contract with the 26-year-old.
According to journalist Matteo Moretto on RadioMarca , Fort is a player in whom Inter has “great interest”.
The 19-year-old has shown potential in the offensive phase with both Barcelona and Elche, recording two goals and two assists in just 12 appearances this season.
He is currently on loan at the team known as Los Franjiverdes, after not finding enough space under Hansi Flick last season.
Moretto also adds to X that Inter have been following Fort for a long time and believe he has a bright future.
According to reports, an offer of around 55 million euros plus Fort’s card could be enough to finalize the deal with Inter.
