According to reports from The Athletic , Real Madrid no longer consider Raul Asensio untouchable and are open to selling him during the summer transfer window.
Despite his great qualities and talent, Asencio’s professionalism has been called into question after a recent clash with coach Alvaro Arbeloa.
This conflict led to the Spanish defender being suspended from several matches.
He also missed the last Champions League clash against Bayern Munich due to illness, as Madrid lost that match and were eliminated from the tournament.
If Arbeloa continues at the helm of the team next season, the chances of Asencio staying in Madrid seem slim.
He could join Dani Carvajal and David Alaba on the list of players expected to leave at the end of the season.
