Cole Palmer has finally responded to reports linking him with a move away from Chelsea to his boyhood club, Manchester United.
On Saturday night, Chelsea host Manchester United at Stamford Bridge in a clash that could be decisive in the race for Champions League qualification.
This match also has special significance for Palmer, who has been a major revelation for the Blues since his transfer from Manchester City in September 2023.
Since then, the Englishman has scored 53 goals and provided 32 assists in 124 appearances, being a key player in the club’s success, including last summer’s Club World Cup triumph.
His excellent form has seen him top the wish list of many big clubs for the summer transfer window, including Manchester United. In fact, in recent months there have been reports that the player would be open to a return to Manchester.
However, Palmer himself has dismissed these speculations, stressing that he has no plans to leave Chelsea.
“Everyone just talks. When I see these, I just laugh. It’s true that Manchester is my home, all my family is there, but I don’t miss it.”

“I would probably miss it if I didn’t go for three months or something. But when I go home, I think there’s actually nothing for me there.”
“I have no plans to leave Chelsea. We still have many goals to achieve,” the English star said.
