If Pep Guardiola decides to leave Manchester City, the strongest candidate to replace him is currently believed to be Enzo Maresca.
Maresca already knows the club extremely well after previously working inside City’s coaching staff under Guardiola, and he is highly rated by the club hierarchy.

City reportedly want a coach who follows a similar football philosophy and can continue the tactical identity Guardiola built over the years.
