Real Madrid coach Alvaro Arbeloa had only good words for Kylian Mbappe and Vinicius Jr after the 1-0 win over Sevilla, praising their commitment despite a difficult period for the team.
Arbeloa had a clash with the Frenchman days ago, but it seems everything has been sorted out, with Mbappe starting alongside Vinicius in Real’s 0-1 win.
“Mbappe and Vinicius? I’m very happy with all the players and their effort. It’s clear that we are very aware that we haven’t met our objectives and that we always want to improve.”
He added that over the last four months the two stars have given their all, each with their own difficulties.
“I’ve been here for four months and I think they’ve both tried to give their best, each with their own difficulties.”
“It’s been a difficult four months for everyone, including them, but I think they’re two players that every team in the world would want, and if they could, they would get.”
According to Arbeloa, Mbappe and Vinicius are among the most decisive players in world football.
“They are two of the five most capable players in the world to change a match and Real Madrid is lucky to have them both. Today it was Vini Jr.’s turn to score, but Kylian did a great job and it is a pity that he did not manage to score as well. Let’s hope he has more luck next weekend.”
