Al-Nassr striker Joao Felix has been named the best player of the last season of the Saudi Professional League, beating his teammate and compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo, who was seen as the favorite.
The 26-year-old footballer finished 5th on the scorers list with 20 goals and first in assists with 13, beating Al-Qadisiyah’s Julian Quinones who finished second.
This season was Felix’s debut for the league champions, after in July 2025, the Saudi club paid Chelsea 30 million euros for his transfer.
Felix will also be looking to repeat his sensational form for Roberto Martinez’s side at the World Cup next month.
The former Chelsea star’s career seemed to be in a downward spiral, but now he has revived his best form in Saudi Arabia.
The other three players nominated for the best player of the season were Cristiano Ronaldo, Ruben Neves and Ivan Toney, but they failed to beat Felix.
On the other hand, the best goalkeeper of the season in Saudi Arabia was chosen as Edouard Mendy of Al Ahli and the best coach of the season was chosen as Jorge Jesus of Al Nassr.
