Barcelona coach Hansi Flick has stated that he is not at all affected by the possibility of Jose Mourinho taking over at Real Madrid next season.
Mourinho is expected to take over at Real Madrid, while the “Special One” has in the past taken the rivalry between the two clubs to another level.
However, for Flick it seems that it will not make a difference, with the German coach declaring that he is ready.
“Of course I’m prepared to face Mourinho. Why not? He’s a coach like any other and I’m always ready for anyone.”
The Portuguese has been mentioned as the main candidate to stabilize the situation at “Los Blancos”, who have had a turbulent season, without winning any trophies and with the internal crisis that has deepened even further.
On the other hand, Flick has brought about a major transformation at Barcelona, leading the Catalans to two consecutive La Liga titles, while also establishing clear dominance in direct confrontations with Real Madrid in “El Clasico”.
