Real Madrid have officially confirmed the transfer of defender Marc Cucurella from Chelsea.
The Madrid team paid 55 million euros plus 5 million euros in bonuses to finally buy him from the English team.
Through an official statement, Real Madrid has confirmed that Cucurella will join the team after the World Cup.
“Real Madrid and Chelsea have reached an agreement for the transfer of Marc Cucurella, who will be linked to the club for the next six seasons, until June 30, 2032,” the statement said.
Meanwhile, Real is aiming to complete other signings such as Josko Guardiola and Ruben Dias.
