The organizers of the civic protests have announced that Prime Minister Edi Rama has until June 21 to respond to the protesters’ demands.
According to them, after more than two weeks of non-stop protests, the time for reflection is running out.
🗣️ “The 21st is the deadline. If by then there are no concrete measures for us, what will happen after a government”, declare the organizers.
They warn that after this date the protests may enter a new beginning, with other forms of civil disobedience, prolonged protests and other major blockades.
So far, there has been no official from the government regarding the ultimatum made public by the protesters.
