Inter have shown determination to secure the services of Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones, making an initial offer of €20 million.
According to reports from Gazzetta dello Sport , the Serie A giants have submitted this offer for the English midfielder, who has long been on the Milan club’s wish list.
Inter had also tried to transfer him during the January transfer window, but without success.
Jones has a contract with Liverpool until June 2027, however, it is reported that the 25-year-old midfielder is open to a move to Italy, and it is even said that some signals from his teammates have hinted at a possible departure.
However, Inter’s first offer remains below the English club’s demands, as Liverpool values the player at around 30 million euros.
Inter are aware that they will have to increase their offer to close the deal, but the Italian club intends to continue negotiations in the coming days, with the aim of winning the race for the midfielder and providing coach Cristian Chivu with his first reinforcement of the summer.
