A Bulgarian teenager stole a newborn from a hospital in Hamburg – she pretended to be a doctor
A new mother went through real drama after her baby was stolen from a hospital in Hamburg.
The woman gave birth five weeks ago, but due to a high temperature, the baby was hospitalized.
Around 19:45 the baby and the mother were examined at the neonatology department. At one point, a Bulgarian woman (18) entered the class, wearing a doctor’s coat and pretending to be a doctor.
She told the mother that there was a package waiting for her at the reception and that she would look after the child until she returned. Instead, she took the baby and ran away from the hospital.
The mother, who was shocked by what happened, immediately called the police.
The police started looking for the baby, and the emergency police were also alerted.
An hour later, the teenager, accompanied by her brother, came to the hospital and returned the child to the mother.
Local media reports that the teenager recently had a miscarriage.
She was immediately arrested and accused of kidnapping a minor
