Amanda Seyfried Dazzles at Berlin Premiere of The Testament Of Ann Lee
Amanda Seyfried turned heads at the premiere of The Testament Of Ann Lee during the 76th edition of the Berlin International Film Festival.
The 40 year old actress stunned on the red carpet in a nude gown embellished with sparkling stones. The dress featured a long mesh skirt and dazzling detailing across the front, highlighting her elegant silhouette.
She styled her blonde hair in soft curls, accessorized with a simple silver necklace, and completed the look with black platform heels.
Seyfried was joined by actress Viola Prettejohn, who also impressed with her sophisticated appearance. The two posed alongside director Mona Fastvold, celebrating the film’s highly anticipated debut.
Oscars Not a Priority
Beyond her glamorous red carpet moment, Seyfried made it clear that winning an Oscar is not her ultimate goal.
The star of Mamma Mia! has previously been nominated for Best Supporting Actress at the 2021 Academy Awards for her role in Mank. This year, she is again in the awards conversation for The Testament Of Ann Lee.
However, in a recent interview with The New Yorker, she emphasized that awards are motivating but not essential.
“Do I need an Oscar? It would be lovely, yes, but it’s not necessary,” she said.
Her comments follow two losses at this year’s Golden Globes, where she appeared visibly disappointed during the announcements.
Still, if her appearance in Berlin is any indication, Amanda Seyfried continues to shine — with or without a trophy in hand.
