Arsenal Star Ready to Leave After Winning The Premier League

News

Arsenal may have finally won the Premier League, but news has already begun to circulate about a possible departure from the champion team.

The Gunners were crowned champions for the first time in 22 years after Manchester City failed to beat Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium on Tuesday evening.

After three consecutive seasons as runners-up, Arsenal finally finished top and the players celebrated with great enthusiasm at the club’s training centre in London Colney.

However, a new report from Sky Germany has revealed that Ethan Nwaneri could leave Arsenal in the summer.

He signed a new long-term contract until 2030 in August, but struggled to secure regular minutes in Mikel Arteta’s “machinery”.

The midfielder failed to make a single start for Arsenal in the Premier League, where he made six appearances, but still retained his right to receive a winner’s medal.

In January, he was loaned to Marseille, where he scored two goals in 11 appearances and helped the French side finish the season in fifth place in Ligue 1.

Although Nääner is expected to return to north London, he remains a top target for Bundesliga club Borussia Dortmund, who are said to be ready to make another bid.

Dortmund had previously attempted to sign him, before he extended his contract, and continue to be a big admirer of his, even asking questions about the player’s situation.
