Barcelona delivered a spectacular performance in the Spanish Super Cup semifinal, sweeping aside Athletic Bilbao with a dominant 5–0 victory.

Hansi Flick’s side controlled the match from start to finish and will now await the winner of the semifinal clash between Real Madrid and Atlético Madrid in the final.

The Catalans started at a blistering pace and took the lead in the 22nd minute. Ferran Torres capitalized on a perfectly weighted pass inside the box, placing a precise shot into the left corner to make it 1–0.

Barcelona’s dominance intensified in the 30th minute, when Fermín López scored a superb goal, firing powerfully into the top-right corner and leaving the Athletic goalkeeper with no chance.

Just four minutes later, teenage talent Roony Bardghji got in on the act. The young winger finished calmly with a low strike into the right corner to extend the lead to 3–0.

In the 38th minute, Bardghji turned provider, delivering a perfect cross into the box for Raphinha, who finished quickly to make it 4–0.

Athletic Bilbao had a golden opportunity to pull one back before halftime, but Oihan Sancet hit the post in the 42nd minute, missing the visitors’ best chance of the first half.

Barcelona maintained their intensity after the break, and in the 52nd minute, Raphinha completed his brace following a brilliant pass inside the area, sealing a commanding 5–0 win.

With this emphatic victory, Barcelona book their place in the Spanish Super Cup final, where they will face either Real Madrid or Atlético Madrid.
