Olympiacos knows no bounds. After formalizing a big hit like that of Marcelo, the Greek club has reached an agreement with Al Rayyan for the loan of James Rodriguez. The Colombian moved in 2021 to Qatar to end his adventure in Europe. With the club of Al Rayyan, Rodriguez has signed a contract until 2024 and earns a salary of 6 million euros.

The new experience in Qatar has not been as expected since, in total, the midfielder has played only 12 games and scored four goals. The Greek media as well as the journalist Fabrizo Romano inform that the agreement has been reached between the two clubs and that the medical tests are scheduled to take place soon. The transitional period of transfers in Greece ends on Thursday and within the time limit Rodriguez is expected to be formalized as the last transfer in the market for Olympiacos.

The 31-year-old has had a rich career, as the Colombian has been part of Porto, Monaco, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Everton and most recently Al Rayyan. Olympiacos fans are ready to give Rodriguez a spectacular and fiery reception, just like the fans filled the stadium at Marcelo’s presentation.
