Champion with four different teams, the German coach: I am fighting the bad disease!

Christophe Daum is a well-known name in training in Germany. The 68-year-old has won championship titles with Stuttgart in Germany, Besiktas and Fenerbahce in Turkey, and Austria Wien in Austria.

The 68-year-old has not managed a team since September 2017, when he ended his adventure as coach of the Romanian national team. Recently, he has not been active at all, as a result of a serious illness that he is passing through.

“Unfortunately, in the last few months I had to retire after being diagnosed with cancer. The treatment is working very well”, writes Daum on his page on social networks, while there have been many messages wishing him a speedy recovery.
