After “sleeping” the entire summer transfer window and allowing several important players to escape, Chelsea is slowly waking up and plans to strengthen its ranks by the end of the month.
The British media claim that the club is working on three transfers at the same time and if they come true, the situation will be partially saved. We are talking about negotiations with Wesley Fofana from Leicester, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang from Barcelona and 19-year-old Cesare Casadei from Inter.
Negotiations are not easy at all. Leicester have so far rejected two offers and Chelsea had to go up to 87 million euros. Casadei is the future of Italian football and Inter does not want to give him up, and Aubameyang has no desire to leave Barca even though it is clear that he will not be a starter next season.
