Contacts between the Player & the Coach – Italian Giants Want Bernardo Silva

News

Juventus coach Luciano Spalletti has reportedly contacted Bernardo Silva personally, hoping to convince the Manchester City captain to move to Turin at the end of the season.

According to “La Gazzetta dello Sport”, Spalletti has taken a concrete step by calling the Portuguese midfielder, who is on Juventus’ wish list for the summer transfer window and in whom there is also interest from other European clubs, including Benfica and Barcelona.

Negotiations between the “Old Lady” and the player’s agent, Jorge Mendes, have reportedly been ongoing for weeks, as Bernardo Silva’s contract with Manchester City expires at the end of the season, which would make him available as a free agent in June.

Gazzetta also recalls that Juventus has offered Bernardo Silva a three-year contract worth 7 million euros per season, while the Portuguese is expected to make a decision on his next club only after the end of the current season.

Silva is said to have asked his agent to let him focus on Man City, a team that is fighting for the English championship title, with five rounds remaining.
