Earthquake tremors were recorded this afternoon in the city of Gjirokastra, causing concern and panic among residents of the area.
According to preliminary data, the earthquake had a magnitude of 3.6 on the Richter scale, while the epicenter was located at a depth of about 5 kilometers below the surface of the earth.
The tremors were felt not only in the city, but also in several surrounding areas, causing many citizens to leave their homes for safety reasons.
So far, the authorities have not reported any material damage or injuries.
