Turkish giants Galatasaray are interested in his services, but the deal must be completed by September 8, when the transfer window closes in this country.
Turkish journalist Ertan Suzgun has been reporting for several days that Icardi is about to move to Istanbul’s Galatasaray, with whom he even reached a verbal agreement.

This information was confirmed by the prestigious French daily “L’Equipe”, but due to the fact that PSG brought the Argentine for 50 million euros, it is difficult to guess how much Galata should pay for this transfer.
Mauro Icardi has not played a single game in the current season. He was in the competition only once, and that was in the Super Cup of France against Nantes (4:0), but he did not get a chance to play and he spent the entire match played in Israel on the bench.
If it really happens that Icardi moves to Galatasaray, it could hit Haris Seferovic, the Swiss national team player who is originally from the Bosnian Krajina, from Sanski Most.

Namely, Seferovic strengthened Galata this summer and has not missed a single game so far. He played in each one, and in the preparatory matches against Kasimpasa and Salernitana he was also a scorer, but we are still waiting for his debut in the Turkish Super League.
As a reminder, Mauro Icardi joined PSG at the beginning of September 2019 as part of a loan from Inter. In the 2019/20 season. he made such a good impression (20 goals and four assists in 34 games) that after a year the leaders of the Parisian club decided to buy him for 50 million euros, but in the end he did not live up to expectations.
