Real Madrid are considering Paris Saint-Germain coach Luis Enrique as a possible candidate for the permanent coaching position in the future.
According to FootballTransfers, club president Florentino Perez is exploring the possibility of bringing the Spanish strategist to the ‘Santiago Bernabeu’ next summer.
Alvaro Arbeloa took charge of the team after Xabi Alonso left by mutual consent in January.
Although he led the team to an impressive 5-1 aggregate victory over Manchester City in the Champions League round of 16, his future is expected to be reviewed at the end of the 2025/26 season.

Luis Enrique has cemented his reputation in recent seasons after leading PSG to their first ever Champions League title and has kept them among the favourites again this season.
He also helped Barcelona win the competition in 2015, the last time the Catalan club lifted the trophy.
The 55-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best coaches in European football, which is said to have caught the attention of Real Madrid’s management.
Thus, Enrique has strong links to both sides of El Clasico. He played for Real Madrid early in his career, before moving to Barcelona in 1996, where he later achieved great success as a player and coach.
Despite his links to Barcelona, reports suggest that Real Madrid see him as one of the main options to take over the club in the future.
