It Is Revealed Why Lamine Yamal Was Angry After The Match With Atleti

News

Barcelona took an important step towards the La Liga title after defeating Atletico Madrid 2-1, extending their lead over Real Madrid to seven points.

However, the end of the match was accompanied by visible tensions, as Lamine Yamal was seen frustrated as he left the field, ignoring coach Hansi Flick’s attempts to calm him down.

Television footage also showed the young striker reacting with irritation even when Robert Lewandowski scored the winning goal in the 87th minute.

Initially there was various speculation about the reasons for his behavior, but it appears that the incident was not related to racial abuse during the match.

Yamal’s reaction after Barcelona’s victory draws attention – he didn’t celebrate, argued with Flick

According to initial reports from ” Mundo Deportivo “, the main cause of Yamal’s dissatisfaction was related to an argument at the end of the match with the goalkeeping coach, Jose Ramon de la Fuente.

The latter was seen asking the player to move the ball faster on two crucial occasions, where Yamal first lost control and then shot over the goal.

The player’s reaction was immediate, pointing his finger at the staff member as he walked away towards the tunnel.

Other footage from broadcaster DAZN shows Yamal repeating the phrase “What do you want me to do?” twice, as de la Fuente continued to shout at him from the technical area.

De la Fuente has been part of Barcelona’s staff since 2012, when he joined the club during Tito Vilanova’s tenure.

He has extensive experience as a coach and has previously worked with clubs such as Hercules, Racing Santander and Gimnastic de Tarragona, after also developing a career as a goalkeeper in Catalan football.

He was also trained at the renowned La Masia academy.

Last summer it was reported that his future could be in question in the event of a departure of captain Marc-Andre ter Stegen, with whom he has a close professional relationship.

Despite this, Flick has consistently spoken in positive terms about de la Fuente, highlighting his important role in the adaptation of the technical staff and the functioning of the team.
