The transfer of Antony from Ajax to Manchester United in the last hours of the market was one of the most sensational moves of the Red Devils. The Englishmen had been after the Brazilian for a long time, but only managed to convince the Dutch in the end thanks to an offer of 85.5 million pounds as they offered the 22-year-old a five-year contract.
