Jurgen Klopp’s name has returned strongly to the centre of transfer speculation, with reports suggesting he could be in talks for a new role outside of Europe.
According to these reports, Saudi club Al Ittihad is considering the possibility of hiring Klopp in a leadership role as Technical Director, where he would have responsibility for transfer planning and the club’s sporting project.
However, his advisor Marc Kosicke has strongly denied these rumors, describing the rumors of a possible transfer as unfounded.
On the other hand, journalist and transfer source Sacha Tavolieri reports that negotiations between the parties may have recently resumed, leaving open the possibility of a surprise move to Saudi Arabia.
Klopp, who is linked with RB Leipzig in a management role, has reportedly decided not to make any final decisions until after the start of the season and the end of the summer transfer window.
His current contract runs until 2029, but reports of internal discontent and a possible early departure have circulated continuously since his appointment to the club’s structure.
