The goalkeeper of Dinamo Zagreb shone and saved three penalties against Japan, for triumph and placement in the quarterfinals.

After the match, Croatian media shared an interesting story revealed by Dominik Livakovic. The goalkeeper revealed that his greatest support is precisely the hero from Russia, Subasic, and he also shared a “ritual” before every match.
“I talk to Subasic before every game. He always advises me, helps me a lot. “Once I had a bad pass, and he sent me a message at halftime to forget the moment,” Livakovic revealed in the past.
He considers his late grandfather Wojmil as a person who is “to blame” for his career. He revealed that in the past he used to listen to him before every match, and now he has a tradition of praying on his behalf.
“I always pray to my late grandfather to help me. It is something of mine, intimate. He was by my side from the very beginning of my career, he is most responsible for where I am today. He taught me a lot, humility first. Even today, humility is my main life value,” concluded the net guard.
