Liverpool Ready to Table €180 Million Bid for Real Madrid Star in Record-Breaking Move

Premier League champions Liverpool are reportedly considering a sensational, record-breaking move for Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham, one of the most coveted players in European football.

After an extraordinary summer of spending—where the Reds invested around €446 million on signings including Alexander Isak (€125m), Florian Wirtz (€116m) and Hugo Ekitike (€69m)—Arne Slot’s side are now looking to further strengthen their midfield as they aim to cement domestic dominance and compete at the highest level in Europe.

According to reports from Spanish media, Liverpool are prepared to go as high as €180 million for the 22-year-old England international. Such a fee would shatter the club’s transfer record, surpassing the €125 million paid for Isak earlier this summer.

Despite the eye-watering figure, Real Madrid are said to view Bellingham as untouchable. Head coach Xabi Alonso reportedly considers the midfielder a cornerstone of his long-term project, and the club has no intention of entering negotiations.

Bellingham is under contract at the Santiago Bernabéu until July 2029 and has played a pivotal role since arriving from Borussia Dortmund in 2023. During his time in Madrid, he has helped the club win La Liga and the Champions League, while contributing an impressive 43 goals and 32 assists in 122 appearances.

Beyond his on-field impact, Bellingham is also seen as a key leader in the dressing room—another reason why Real Madrid are reluctant to even entertain the idea of a sale, regardless of Liverpool’s financial firepower.
