Not Real Madrid or Man City – Pep Guardiola Reveals The Best Team in The World

News

Manchester City coach Pep Guardiola has praised Arsenal ahead of the important clash that awaits them at the Etihad, describing it as one of the toughest challenges in Europe.

In an interview with Sky Sports, Guardiola highlighted the Londoners’ exceptional form in all competitions.

“The question this week is that we will face a team that in 49 games has only lost three. In Champions League games they have never lost. They have won almost all of them, except for one draw.”

He also recalled past confrontations between the two teams, underlining the difficulty of such duels.

“When we played in the Carabao Cup we were underdogs, nobody was betting on us. That shows the level of challenge.”

“I have a lot of respect for Arsenal – for what they have done in the last two or three years. The manager, the players and their quality. The way they compete in every situation is something we have to take into account.”

According to Guardiola, Arsenal can currently be considered the strongest team in Europe.

“They have been the best team in this country and in Europe so far.”

“Beating Arsenal once is very difficult, imagine twice in a few weeks. We need to rest, prepare and understand exactly what we have to do.”

Meanwhile, the clash between Man City and Arsenal will take place next Sunday at the Etihad, where the English championship title will be decided.
