Real Madrid Have Officially Decided to Sell Their Star in The Summer

News

Real Madrid are set to put striker Gonzalo Garcia up for sale during the summer transfer window, with two Bundesliga clubs keeping a close eye on his situation.

According to reports from The Athletic, Madrid are planning for next season without the 22-year-old, despite him renewing his contract until 2030 only in August.

The club could decide to sell the player, potentially including a buy-back clause – a practice also used with other talents.

And to release him, Los Blancos are expected to benefit from around 35 million euros.

Garcia has been linked with several German clubs in recent weeks, with Eintracht Frankfurt and VfB Stuttgart reportedly showing interest in the striker.

Stuttgart had even identified him as a top target for the attacking department during the winter transfer window, but then signed Jeremy Arevalo from Racing Santander. However, interest in García could return in the summer.

García has enjoyed regular minutes this season, scoring six goals in all competitions. However, his place in the team is expected to be taken by Brazilian talent Endrick, who is currently on loan at Olympique Lyon.

The 19-year-old is excelling in France, registering 12 goal contributions (6 goals and 6 assists) in 16 league matches.
