Sydney Sweeney denies plastic surgery “Stop comparing me at 12 to how I look today”
Sydney Sweeney has responded firmly to rumors claiming she has undergone cosmetic procedures.
In an interview with Allure, the 27yearold actress stated that she has never had plastic surgery or facial fillers.
“I have not done anything. I am terrified of needles,” she said, adding that changes in her appearance are simply the result of growing up, makeup, and professional lighting. “Do not compare me when I was 12 years old to how I look today. Of course I am going to look different.”
Sweeney revealed that an old injury near her left eye which required 19 stitches after a wakeboarding accident has caused slight asymmetry in her eyelid, something that often sparks baseless online rumors about cosmetic enhancements, reports DailyMail.
Her comments come shortly after she became the center of an online debate surrounding an American Eagle campaign. The actress emphasized that she is “against any kind of hate and division,” firmly denying any involvement in the negative interpretations of the ad.
Meanwhile, Sweeney continues her intense work schedule. She is promoting her new film “The Housemaid,” hitting theaters on December 19, and is set to return as Cassie in season three of Euphoria, premiering this spring on HBO.
She also has several new film projects coming up, including “Scandalous” and multiple roles currently in development.
